Becoming a Christian

You were created to have a personal relationship with God

Jesus Christ provides a relationship with God and eternal life through His death on the cross and His resurrection (Romans 5:10).  God created you and loves you no matter who you are or what you’ve done.  To enter into fellowship with Him, you must follow the ABC’s of Salvation

Admit that you have sinned

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” - Romans 3:23 NKJV

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” - Romans 6:23 NKJV

Believe on Jesus Christ

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” - John 3:16-17 NKJV

“So, they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved; you and your household."  - Acts 16:31 NKJV

Confess Christ publicly

“...that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” - Romans 10:9-10 NKJV

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” - Romans 1:16 NKJV

If you are ready to begin your personal relationship with God, tell Him that you are willing to trust Him for salvation. You can tell Him in your own words or use this simple prayer:

Heavenly Father, I confess that I have sinned against You and need Your salvation.  Please forgive me.  I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior, fully trusting in the work He accomplished on the cross on my behalf.  Thank you for saving me, accepting me, and adopting me into Your family.  Help me to walk in close step with You.  In Jesus’ name, amen.

Welcome to your new life in Christ!  We would love to celebrate this great step with you!
